I came here about 3 occasions here to eat chicken & chips and the people who serve here says 'we have run out of chicken' I mean whats the point in Dixy Chicken calling themselves that. Really they should re-name themselves to Dixy Chickenless, to ALL people who are reading this please avoid this place you will leave this place disappointed. Best places I can recommend is to eat is at Mc Donalds,Topper's Fish & Chip Shop , Wales Fish & Chips, Amalfi, City Pizza, Pronto Pizza, Queens Grill & Fish & Chips Bar, Wing Wah, Fryways, Subway, Flames, Pizza Hut, Dominos Pizza, The Balti Hut & The Shahi Balti.

  • Assisted Bathing, AV Aquafix Customer (guest) wrote 16 years ago:
Being a customer of this outfit, I can confirm the plumbing techniques are 'satisfactory', though some of the finishing jobs could be better. I have to stress that there are other competitors available, who can perform a better job (especially of tidying up rough and odd ends!) than the proprietor of AV Aquafix; Adam Vorajee. AV Aquafix also provides a contractor service for building and renovation work. I must advise all prospective customers-to-be to STAY AWAY from this arm of AV Aquafix's business; there are much better alternatives to look for if you want to have building/renovation work done within a respectable time-scale! When it comes to getting building work done, AV Aquafix are one of the worst companies to a) get the work done on time, b) supply workmanship that equals investment remunerated to it! Their contracting work is by far inferior in quality and it is rest assured, they provide customer dissatisfaction.

The Co-op Hall (Kwik Save) has now been demolished. To some it was a wasted opportunity to provide the community of Nuneaton a venue for bored youths or use it, as it was in its former life, as a dance hall. To others it was an eyesore; a blight on Nuneaton's map that stood as a derelict obstruction. One thing is for sure, it's beautiful Art Deco architecture will be sorely missed.
